(Harvard); Ph.D.; Honorary Professor at Anna University, Chennai, was formerly Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras and UNESCO Chief Technical Advisor, University of Moratuwa, Colombo. Professor Varghese has over 60 years of teaching experience in premier engineering institutions like the IITs. Besides, he has been a consultant to various projects in India and abroad.
