G. SRINIVASAN (Ph.D.) is Professor of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He obtained his doctorate in Industrial Engineering and Management from IIT Madras in the year 1990. He has about twenty years of teaching and research experience in the areas of operations management and operations research. Professor Srinivasan has contributed several research papers in reputed journals. He is also the author of Operations Research: Principles and Applications, published by PHI Learning.

His areas of interest include operations research, operations and supply chain management and manufacturing systems management.
