Energy engineering and management

AMLAN CHAKRABARTI, M.Tech., is Professor and Head, Department of Electrical Engineering, Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Earlier, he served as Deputy General Manager of CMC Limited. He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India).

This textbook is designed for senior students of B.Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and first-year students of M.Tech. in Energy Management. The book will also be useful for MBA courses on Energy Management conducted by some universities through distance education mode.
